For my alternate resume, I used a prompt that focused on media and content creation instead of technical skills. I asked the AI to act as a career advisor and rewrite my resume with an emphasis on storytelling, video creation, and social media experience, and I included details about my Instagram videos and engagement. Compared to my original resume, the biggest difference is the focus. The original version highlights data analysis and technical tools, while the AI-generated version focuses more on creativity, content creation, and audience engagement, which makes it more suitable for media-related internships. From this process, I learned that prompt engineering is very important because small changes in instructions can lead to very different results. By clearly defining the role, task, and constraints, I was able to tailor my resume for a different audience, and it showed me how AI can be useful when you give specific and clear directions.
